Résumé
This document details the findings of a desk review of 23 GEF projects, taking place in Bangladesh, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guyana, India, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela. These projects were chosen within GEF biodiversity portfolio because of their direct or indirect impacts on indigenous peoples. Special attention was paid, in the course of the analysis, to the consideration of indigenous peoples' rights and of social issues in the design of these large conservation projects.
