From the 1st to the 3rd of July, the Landscapes for People, Food and Nature held their regional conference in Nairobi, Kenya. The meeting convened leading minds from African governments, research organisations, civil society and the private sector to generate an agenda to enhance and scale effective integrated landscape initiatives in Africa. Crucial to the regional meeting where dialogues on food security, climate change, environment and sustainable development. The meeting's participants heard about leading research on landscape management, and lessons learnt from years of local and national initiatives on the continent. The final conference output includes policy and program recommendations for national, regional and international action.
