St.Vincent De Paul Community Development Organisation(SAVIDIDO)

St.Vincent De Paul Community Development Organisation (SAVIDIDO) is a non profit making organization that focuses on rural livelihoods improvement,environmental conservation practices and management, water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, health, gender and development as well as good governance. SAVIDIDO reaches impoverished households that are organized in Community Based Organizations(CBOs) with an overall aim of minimizing poverty.


Integration of VSLA (Village Savings and Loans Association) Methodology into environmental conservation project.
This project operates in Luweero and Nakaseke District.
The VSLA project aims at promoting environmental conservation by training its beneficiaries to construct energy saving stoves (Lorena stoves) as well as promotion of tree planting by providing beneficiaries with tree seedlings.
