Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN)

Wildlife Conservation Nepal (WCN) works to protect endangered species and their habitat while protecting the rights of the local people by providing training to uplift their living standard  through non timber forest products, agroforestry and farming. Currently WCN is working in four districts of Nepal on agroforestry and medicinal plants.

Projects

Developing low cost community based solution to mitigate and adapt to climate change: This project, which is carried out in Chitwan, Makwanpur, Nawalparasi, Rasuwa, supports marginalised communities through agroforestry and non timber forest products harvesting while developing mechanism to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Different trainings on the above issues have been provided to support and strengthen local communities.
