The PCLG currently has a thematic focus on the links between great ape conservation and poverty which is supported by the Arcus Foundation. This work brings together our two national groups in Uganda and Cameroon, as well as other international network members to improve policy and practice in great ape conservation.

Previous thematic work has focused on biodiversity mainstreaming – integrating biodiversity conservation into development and poverty reduction policy and planning.
