The social and economic importance of Dacryodes edulis (G. Don) H.J. Lam in Southern Cameroon

Dacryodes edulis is reported to be one of the most important NTFPs in Cameroon. The study tried to understand why and how farmers were managing the trees on their land and to identify the constraints they faced as well as highlight opportunities for farmers to reap greater benefits from their tree management activities. The study was particularly interested in understanding how women and the poorest members of society are involved in and affected by tree management decisions.
