A case study of community-based tourism within the Morne Trois Pitons world heritage site, Dominica

The paper provides a case study of a community based eco tourism project taking place within the Morne Trois Pitons world heritage site, Dominica. The author gives a historical account of how the project was initially conceived, the problems that the project faced, and the benefits/costs that the project brought around. Overall the project was a failure due to multiple reasons, however during its project period it provided a number of benefits such as income, training in tourism and catering, as well as the provisioning of business experience.
